Storage tanks occasionally have product that needs to be transferred to another tank to prepare it for cleaning, repairs, or to empty it of contaminated product. Pneu Magna Transfer has developed a solution that is environmentally friendly (minimal hydrocarbon loss to the atmosphere), safe (no source of ignition), and more efficient (higher GPM) in all weather conditions.
Maximum Efficiency
Since out-of-service tanks generate no revenue, you expect the most efficient transfer possible. Product can be removed at higher GPM and pumped out almost completely due to consistent suction.
No Source of Ignition
Oil companies generally ban gas and diesel powered pumps from being in proximity of tanks. Bonded pumps can be positioned next to the tank and you can feel confident knowing there is no source of ignition.
